Remote Renewable Energy Project Manager

Our client, a leading innovator in the renewable energy sector, is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Remote Renewable Energy Project Manager to lead the development and execution of groundbreaking solar and wind energy projects. This is a fully remote position, empowering you to manage complex energy initiatives from anywhere while contributing significantly to sustainable energy solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all phases of project lifecycles, from initial feasibility studies and site selection to construction, commissioning, and operational handover. You will manage budgets, timelines, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful and profitable delivery of renewable energy infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, or other renewables) from inception through completion. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Oversee site assessment, feasibility studies, and permitting processes. Coordinate and manage engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors and vendors. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, external partners, regulatory bodies, and local communities. Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment. Manage contract negotiations and administer project contracts. Facilitate project close-out, including documentation, final payments, and handover to operations. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project management within the renewable energy sector (solar, wind, etc.). Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale energy projects from start to finish. Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, project development processes, and EPC contracting. Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile) and software tools. Excellent financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated ability to manage remote teams and coordinate complex logistics. Proficiency in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
